Are you interested in urban design issues in Vancouver? Do your eyes light up when you hear the words “urban fabric”? Are you keen to meet other folks who are interested in the design, planning and use of Vancouver’s public spaces?

If so, consider coming out to the next meeting of the VPSN Urban Design Working Group – taking place this Wednesday, February 8,6-8pm @ W2 Cafe. It’s our first meeting of 2012, and we’d love to have you join.

What will be we doing at this meeting?

  • Discussion and debate on the urban design issues of the day (all the latest events from around town);
  • Updates on key VPSN projects (including the Downtown Public Realm Plan and North East False Creek);
  • Brainstorming new projects for 2012.

If you’ve got issues, ideas and actions that you’d like to bring to the table, please do! As with all our working groups, these meetings provide a forum for new ideas and projects to emerge. There’s lots we could be working on in the next year, and we want to hear from you about your pet projects and secret (or not so secret) city-building schemes.
