Weed and Weave Party!

Join Sharon Kallis, David Gowman and Katrina Sterba (MOPARRC and Environmental Youth Alliance) for a day of weeding and weaving! Once harvested, the weeds will be woven into sculptures that can be left in the garden to biodegrade. Learn simple weaving methods as well as how to identify plants that are useful to work with.

MOP is a community garden that grows creative crops for artists’ use. Bamboo, willow, hazel, fibre crops and dye plants are some of the plants found on site.
