The WALL: Free Artist Talk

2015 The WALL artist, Faith Moosang, will be offering a free artist’s talk about her piece “down.town.” which has been installed at the CBC Plaza since November of last year. The talk will take place on the plaza beneath The WALL and Faith will discuss her process, the creation, research and impetus behind the final work. Faith is a multimedia artist who lives and works in Vancouver. Her work centres around inquiry into spectacle culture, media, and mediated and archived imagery. “down.town.” uses a selection of images and film stills sourced from the CBC Archives to create a grid that responds to questions about demolitions and change in downtown Vancouver between 1954 and 2015.
