The 8th annual Jane’s Walk Festival

May 3, 2014 – May 4, 2014
All day

Come explore your city on foot!

Taking place in 100+ cities worldwide and in Vancouver this weekend, Jane’s Walk celebrates the ideas and legacy of urbanist Jane Jacobs by getting people out exploring their neighbourhoods through free walking tours, led by locals. By walking together, communities engage in civic dialogue about what matters most in the places they live and work.

Vancouver has over 20 interesting walks to choose from including the VPSN sponsored Active Fiction Walk, transit walks along Broadway, a brewery tour, and other walks in the West End, False Creek, Mt. Pleasant and more.

All walks are FREE so get out and enjoy your city and the legacy of Jane Jacobs!

Please visit Jane’s Walk for more details.
