What would you like to see next for the St. George Rainway/Creek? If you would like to be a part of planning this initiative, come to the Community Design Workshop this Saturday from 1:30-2:30pm and help dream up the waterway. The workshop conversations and visions will be shared by turning them into postcards to be widely distributed.

Invite your friends & neighbours! This FREE event is open to anyone in the community interested in reconnecting to the buried streams and building watershed literacy through creative activities.

The St. George Rainway Project is a community driven initiative that seeks to recall a historic waterway in Mt. Pleasant. The goal is to use rainwater runoff from adjacent properties, the street, and connecting laneways to recreate this lost stream as part of a “Rainway” along St. George St. from Kingsway to the False Creek Flats.

Questions? email stgerogerainway@gmail.com or check out the St. George Rainway: Community Design Workshop FB event page.
