Pride Picnic in the Park

Two of Canada’s cuisine connoisseurs will be demonstrating their culinary flare at the Pride Picnic in the Park at Brockton Oval, Saturday, July26th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Chef’s Shelley Robinson and Rockin’ Ronnie Shewchuck will be creating their stunning signature dishes for picnic goers. 

At Picnic in the Park, there will be family-friendly games including: tug-of-war, watermelon eating and the high-heel shoe toss and drag race, a fun volleyball tournament hosted by Out in Sport and the Vancouver Tennis association swinging, and handheld and board games hosted by the Vancouver Gaymers. There is even a Dog Park by donation with treats donated by Health Products for Pets. The 19+ wine & beer garden will feature DJs music throughout the day and the Vancouver Dyke March will is having a Picnic Basket Competition at the event, so bring your best basket to the park!
