Join us on September 23rd at the Vogue Theatre for a special edition PechaKucha Night in collaboration with the City of Vancouver to talk about Our Green Future.

Five short years ago, we did a PechaKucha Night with the City to celebrate the plan to turn Vancouver into the Greenest City in the world by 2020.

Remember that?

Now it’s time to check in. We’ve got five years left to become the greenest city and have added a new ambitious goal to be run completely on renewable energy by 2050. Are we on track? How do we get there?

And what does a truly green future look like for our city, not just in an environmental sense, but socially, economically and culturally?

With recent debates about transit, smoke choking our skies, fuel spills in our waters and the possibility of a pipeline expansion, we think it’s a good time to hear from the local people doing the hard work to create our green future.
