Musqueam Tour: Witness It, Remember It, Tell It

A pilot project for 2014, Vancouver Heritage Foundation has partnered with Musqueam Indian Band to offer a bus tour featuring locations in Vancouver which are significant historically and in contemporary Musqueam life. The bus will travel through Vancouver from c̓əsnaʔəm (also known as the Marpole Midden) to Stanley Park, travel the water edge around English Bay and Spanish Banks, and visit Musqueam including a tour of the Musqueam Cultural Centre Gallery. While travelling between destinations youth guides will lead participants in traditional songs and share personal stories from their families. You will have the opportunity to witness how craft and tradition have been maintained and passed down through generations.

Meet in the parking lot of 1450 SW Marine Dr and then walk as a group to the first tour stop, c̓əsnaʔəm, before boarding the bus.
