Montreal Massacre Memorial

Join the Vancouver Rape Relief & Women’s Shelter for the Montreal Massacre Memorial on the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women.

This year, the event falls on the original date of the Montreal Massacre, December 6. The rich program will include films, lectures, panels and roundtable conversations.

Marking 25 years since the Montreal Massacre, the event features Dr. Lee Lakeman’s lecture – Backlash, Revolt, Reforms: The (real) story of the Montreal Massacre.
