Hastings sub-area workshop
Help shape the future of Grandview-Woodland at this Hastings sub-area workshop!
What do the next few decades hold for the Hastings sub-area? As part of the larger Grandview-Woodland community planning process, this full-day workshop will explore policy directions that will help shape growth and change in this part of the neighbourhood.
Come out, discuss community issues with City staff, review proposed neighbourhood policy options, learn about the new Citizens’ Assembly, and help plan the future of the community. No prior planning experience or expertise required!
The workshop is a full-day session, and will feature a number of planning activities. The event is being designed to be fun, fast-paced, and engaging. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Please plan to roll up your sleeves and participate in the entire event!
At the end of the session, participants will have helped to identify key options for land-use and building types, housing, local economy, public spaces and more. This work will then be integrated into the larger, neighbourhood-wide planning process, including the work of the Grandview-Woodland Citizens’ Assembly.
