A Conversation: Finding Nature in Public Spaces
Interested in nature in the city? This roundtable discussion presented by the Art is Land Network (AILN) as part of their CONDUIT project, will explore opportunities for finding nature in our urban green environments. Conduit is a method of transmitting energy. How do city parks, our public place for social, democratic gatherings act as conduits for finding nature?
Covering themes that include: patterns in place and nature, cultural awareness and enrichment, placemaking, and elements of design; panelists will offer their individual perspectives on the concepts of nature in urban public places. This will be followed by a directed discussion with members of the audience.
