VPSN 2025 By-Election Candidate Survey (Updated Mar 24)

A by-election is being held in the city on April 5, 2025, and two seats at the Council table are up for grabs!
For the past several elections, the Vancouver Public Space Network (VPSN) has worked to help voters better understand the perspectives of candidates running for office. For the upcoming by-election, we’ve prepared a short candidate survey focused on public space matters. The questions cover a variety of topics, some more general in nature, some more closely related to current issues. We’ve shared the survey with all the candidates, sharing news via email, social media channels or both.
We invited each candidate to share their responses so that public space enthusiasts and other Vancouverites can get to know them better.
Responses Received (as of March 24, 2025):
We’ve now posted answers from Guy Dubé, Karin Litzcke, Lucy Maloney, Jeanifer Decena, Sean Orr, Colleen Hardwick, Theodore Abbott, and Annette Reilly
- We received word from Charles Ling that he would be provide responses shortly.
- We are still waiting to hear from Rollergirl, Ralph Kaisers, Jaime Stein and Gerry McGuire.
