Parks Board – No Net Loss of Greenspace

We were disappointed that that the majority of Parks Board members chose not to support a motion by Commissioner Spencer Herbert to ensure “No Net Loss of Greenspace.” Given the increasing pressures of development, and the fact that more people than ever are using our parks system, this seemed – to us – to be a prudent and forward-thinking approach.
