Help turn the 300-block of Alexander into a blooming boulevard

Want to turn a grey asphalt sidewalk into a gorgeous green space bursting from the seams with plants and soil? Got a few hours to spare for a local place-making project?

On June 18th you are invited to partake in just such an extravaganza of creativity! No green thumb is required, nor any tools or experience. The VPSN is partnering with the City of Vancouver, community organizations and residents of the street turn the north sidewalk on the 300 block of Alexander Street into a new greenspace for the community to enjoy. The City will provide snacks, refreshments, gloves, soil, plants, an awesome design (courtesy of Community Studio), and the tools…but we need your help make the one-day planting happen!

You’re invited to join us!

When: Saturday June 18th, 10am-4pm
Where: 300 block of Alexander Street, Vancouver

Eeeep! Registration is required!

 There are limited spaces available, so grab yours quickly (and bring a friend)!
