Join us for LuminoCITY an installation which is part of the global winteraction movement hosted by the fabulous frida&frank!

LuminoCITY is an art installation that explores seasonal affective disorder. Our aim is to combat winter blues and brighten people’s day by creating an immersive environment filled with warm light. Each of the 179 tealights represents a day of Autumn or Winter. This piece is inspired by candles and the Danish concept of “hygge” which means wellbeing. One of the key mediums of hygge is candlelight, which brings people together through creating a warm ambiance to encourage storytelling. More than half of Danes light candles every day during the fall and winter to create a cozy and uplifting atmosphere that combats winter blues.
