Forming an Urban Indigenous Family-Based Counselling Centre

The following event is being organized by Metro Vancouver Aboriginal Executive Council and Native Education College.

The Native Education College and Metro Vancouver Aboriginal Executive Council are co-hosting a community meeting to form a new non-profit society to start a trauma-informed and family-based counselling centre for the urban Vancouver Indigenous community.

We are seeking community members interested in leading the development and governance of a new Indigenous controlled counselling service for the community. Lawyers, accountants, cultural knowledge-keepers, and other professionals with community spirit are invited to join us.
