Festival for Publik Space

AUGUST 18 – FESTIVAL FOR PUBLIK SPACE

Join us in Hadden Park (1015 Maple Street) for a celebration of art in the park! We’re marking the third year of the Publik Secret’s field house residency, and we’d like to pack in many of our favorite things into the park for a mini-festival of creative loitering and performances. This free, all-ages event runs from 5pm to 9:30pm and is held outdoors on unceded coast salish territory.

The diverse field of sound art has been a continual feature of our fieldhouse residency, and this year’s festival will have a special focus on ambient & soundscape based practices, using our distributed mobile sound systems to create an outdoor listening space that interacts with and references the surrounding acoustic environment.
