Latin American Heritage Month runs until November 2nd in Vancouver this year. Between now and then there are lots of interesting cultural events including dance performances, workshops and a Dia de Muertos Market. This video shows scenes of the Day of the Dead Market on Granville Island last year. It happens again this year on October 29th and 30th.

Lots of other fun events are happening this week too including a Flamenco, Tango & Wine Night, a concert with Jorge Vercillo, a Parranda Latina Noche night of music and dancing, a Brazilian Experience Night, and a Día de Muertos Celebration at UBC. Some events are ticketed but others are free.
