Interested in joining the VPSN Board? We’re looking to recruit some top-notch talent to help guide the organization. If you’re interested in taking on a governance or organizational role with VPSN, please get in touch. The VPSN works on a wide variety of public space issues – from the provision of lively open spaces to ensuring strong and sustainable streets and transportation networks. We’re particularly looking for support with the following key portfolios:

• Privatization & Corporatization – keeping public spaces public
• Democratic Spaces – enabling more and better civic engagement
• Parks & Greenspaces – keeping Vancouver green
• Public Art – covering the creative culture of public space

Our Board work in these and other areas has a strong advocacy focus. Interested candidates should have a good understanding of current policy, programs and stakeholders in these areas – not to mention ideas and enthusiasm for making Vancouver’s public space the best it can be!
