There’s lots going on in Vancouver’s public realm! In order to stay as engaged as possible, the VPSN has a number of Board portfolios and project groups, each of which is focussed on key aspects of the city’s public space.

Current VPSN areas of activity include:

  • Billboards, Corporatization & Privatization
  • Democratic Spaces
  • Greenspaces
  • Public Art
  • Public Health
  • Social Use of Public Space
  • Surveillance & Security (Safe Spaces)
  • Transportation
  • Urban Design

VPSN meetings and project opportunities are open to everyone – so if you’re interested in any of these issue-areas, please consider joining us at one of our next meetings. General meetings occur on the first Wednesday of each month and project or portfolio specific activities recur on an ad-hoc basis.
