The bike lane is designed to connect the Burrard Bridge with downtown – not the seawall. The section between the Burrard Bridge (via Pacific) and Drake is not that steep.

Very, very few ever pedal up this hill. The only result will be loss of badly needed parking places for local businesses.

It’s a worthy plan that fails in its execution. There are far better options.
