Wednesday, November 26 2006 - Public Space Open House

Join the Coordinators from the Vancouver Public Space Network for an open house and learn about key projects, initiatives, volunteer and student opportunities involving the city's public realm.  Got an interest in urban design, billboards, bike-lanes, community gardens, CCTV or the windy sidewalk in front of your house? 

Come on out and join in the discussion.  Snacks provided. Our open houses are always lots of fun!

To get the ball rolling, we’ll also be having a special guest speaker who will be making a presentation on “Public Squares, Gathering Places and Memory.”  Details to follow.

Takes place in the Alma VanDusen/Peter Kaye Room, Lower Level, VPL Central Library, 7-9pm.
